Renee graduated from Regis University with a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Addiction Counselor III (CACIII), Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), Emotion Focused Couples therapist (EFT), and an EMDR practitioner. Additionally, Renee is a member of the Association of Addictive Professionals (NAADAC), the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP), and is a National Certified Counselor (NCC).
She has been working with individuals and couples, with multiple addictions and co-occurring disorders since 2008. Renee received her clinical training in sexual addiction directly from leaders in the field including; Dr. Kenneth Adams, Dr. Stefanie Carnes, Debra Kaplan, Anexandra Katehakis, and Robert Weiss. Renee utilizes Dr. Patrick Carnes 30 tasks model for treating sex and pornography addiction and the betrayed partner.
Today Renee maintains her clinical practice at Trauma Recovery Counseling Services, LLC. She is committed to providing clients in the community an environment of comfort and safety. She is accepting, compassionate, and knowledgable at navigating barriers to change. She utilizes an internationally recognized community of researchers, educators, and writers in the field of addictions and trauma to ensure best practice.

Lisa graduated from Ursuline College with a Master’s degree (MA) in clinical Mental Health Counseling and Art Therapy. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Registered Art Therapist (ATR), Certified Sex Addiction Counselor-candidate (CSAT-CANDIDATE), Equine Assisted Psychotherapist (OK Coral), EMDR practitioner that has been certified in training a therapy session well. She practices a multimodal client centered approach. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NBCC), and is a member of The American Art Therapy Association (AATA), EMDRIA (EMDR), Path international the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH),
She has 10 plus years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. She specializes in trauma related work and relational development. She has developed several programs for healing and betterment including children , teens, adults, and seniors . Lisa continues to build her skills, and develop programs that support the community needs, as cutting edge information and societal shifts occur. She works with porn addiction, sex addiction, relational problems including, infidelity, betrayal trauma, forgiveness, and divorce. She is skilled at treating individuals with emotional dysregulation disorders that complicate daily living. She accomplishes this by providing a safe and directed environment in a professional atmosphere.
